Vinyl dvd is out
Tom Arkus of Vinyl Bmx just announced the release of his DVD 'Best Of Both Worlds' The DVD is done and roastin hot! Here's the trailer. It should be available at EmpireBmx in a few days. We'll be hosting a premiere for it here at T1 in early March, along with the new Metal Bikes DVD 'Dead Bang'. (Send the bloddy DVD already Jimmy!) Should be a cracker of a double bill !

The Fakie comp / Jam was a huge sucess at the weekend for being a freestyled event! Thanks to everyone who came out and shredded the course, broke every high air record imaginable and even cleaned up beer cans afterwards! It was a beast, and reminded us of how fun jams used to be! I think we'll have more of these events, what do you reckon?

Our darling Spaniard Ruben just sent us some photos of him having a Terrible time riding his bike in Malaga. It's the dead of winter there right now as you can see! Life? Magazine showed up in the
mail one day a few months ago. The first thing I noticed was a collage of
film boxes on the cover mixed in with a kick ass toboggan picture. I thought
to myself , " all those film boxes . . . . it can't be . . . can it?
". Yep, that's right, no digital foam pit photography here. Ted
Van Orman is resposbile for this refreshing publication that is chalked
full of "feel-good" words and real 35mm photographs!
It was a nice surprise to open the envelope and get to see a entirely different

new public BMX/skate park meeting tomorrow night in Austin
Come and show your support and input for our next public skatepark to be built here in Austin at House park (where the Green Park and Tennis courts currently stand) The new park will allow BMX as well as Skateboarding, so go there and show your support and suggestions for design. We need as many BMXers as possible to show up to make sure we can legally ride this one without soccer mum's reporting us!

Jimmy levan Rehab fund goal
Some more Levan updates for you and how you can help the J-man's head and his family's colossally outstanding medical bills from his accident. The good news is that Jimmy is making progress since he came out the coma and slowly getting it together, but the bad news is that Jimmy's insurance WILL NOT COVER his brain trauma rehab program at the new hospital he was just transferred to (The JFK Brain Rehab Institute in Edison NJ). The cost of Jimmy's rehab program is around $70,000 and is vital to Jimmy's recovery. So we need all your help to pull together as much of that total ASAP. C'mon..go here to DONATE. Our best wishes and thoughts go out to one of our bestest Buddies Jimmy Levan, who took a serious knock a few days ago, while filming for the new Odyssey DVD. Jimmy suffered a really intense skull fracture and currently in intensive care for the time being. We'll be organising a fund and benefit foir Jimmy's medical bills here pretty soon and will keep you informed. Meanwhile, let's pray this is just another head bongo in the Life of Muhammed Levan. red Bull Down n dirt street comp
Our own Danny Hickerson will be traveling to Garrett Byrnes country to participate in RED BULL's " Down and Dirty " Street comp going down in Asbury Park NJ on November 4th. Danny is a part of Team Knuckle Sandwich, with Corey Martinez, Seth Kimbrough, and Karl Poynter. The whole deal sounds pretty nuts, and held in one of the old casinos!. It's worth checking out for sure. Garrett Byrnes will be making an appearance, and that in itself would be reason to go! More..
