Ahhhh yes, a day at the cement park . . . I didn't think that I'd ever be at home and able to write a phrase like that. It seems as though a good portion of the past 8 to 10 years of mine, have been spent traveling to cement transitions near and far. Back when they were a lot more scarce, it would only take a mere photo or story to start the gears turning in my head . . . " how soon could i get there?! "

But now a days, things are different. There are some states who's skate park count is in the three digit range. I've even been to some towns with the most amazing parks, and the kids there think its just ok only because they have never even been anywhere else to compare it to. Ha ha. I can't even imagine what it would be like to get into riding just now and have these available on any given day. What a treat !

Recently, Ruben, Garrett and Paul B just so happened to be visiting Austin at the same time. What are the chances of that? Coincidence? . . . You got it ! So a few mornings we packed in the Pfinder along with Sandy, Logan, my brother Chris, on a few trips to Round Rock skatepark. There are cradles in Texas now, yipee ! This park is fairly new and so much fun. There is always a good mix of time on the bikes, and time on the boards. Tranny just feels good regardless. Yeah !!!!!
